Aftercare Instructions

  • Can I get my lashes wet?

For the first 24 hours after your appointment do not wet your lashes. The adhesive used needs time to cure and set. Getting your lashes wet before the adhesive has fully cured can cause the bond to weaken and lashes fall out prematurely. After the first 24 hours always ensure lashes are dry after getting them wet.

  • Can I use makeup products on my lashes?

Do not use eyeliner, mascara, or any oil-based products on your lashes. The oil in these products can disrupt the adhesive and cause lashes to fall out prematurely. Use water based products instead.

  • How often should I wash my lashes?

Wash your lashes daily. Not removing build up on your lashes from oil, sweat, dust, etc. can cause lashes to fall out prematurely. Handle lashes gently; use only a lash wand to brush your lashes daily. If a lash turns, use you lash wand to gently brush it back into place.

  • Is it okay to pick my lashes?

Do not pick or pull on your lashes. This behavior will pull your natural lashes out and damage them by causing gaps and thin lashes.

  • When should I get a fill-in?

Get your lashes refilled every 2-3 weeks. You naturally shed lashes at a rate of 2-5 per day (1 week = approximately.) A refill will maintain the look and density of your lashes.

  • What else should I avoid?

Avoid steamy showers, saunas, and high heat. The humidity and heat will weaken the bond causing lashes to fall out prematurely. Also avoid sleeping on your face. This behavior will cause your lashes to fall out prematurely on one eye and not the other.
